Associated in practice with Charles A. Rich for a number of years under the firm name of Lamb & Rich. During the late nineteenth century the partners established a reputation in designing church and collegiate buildings, notable examples of which are at Barnard College in New York, Dartmouth and Snith, and Colgate College in Hamilton, New York. Lamb & Rich were also architects in 1892 for the residence of the late President Theodore Roosevelt at Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York.
