Architect Willis Franklin
Willis Franklin Denny (1872-6/18/1905) Atlanta, Georgia (A.I.A.)
Although death cut short his career at the age of thirty-three, Mr. Denny established a reputation in the profession during the brief period he practiced. His best known works in Atlanta included a number of churches, notably the First Methodist, St. Mary's Catholic Church, and the Westminster Presbyterian. He was also architect of the Hotel Majestic, and designed the New Hotel at Montgomery, Alabama. Forced to retire shortly after the turn of the century due to ill health, Mr. Denny spent his remaining years in Denver, Colorado.
