A. Ten Eych Brown (1878-6/9/1940) Atlanta Georgia (A.I.A.)
He was born in Albany, New York, and after an education in the city's public schools, went to New York for architectural training and experience. Early in the century, Mr. Brown moved to Norfolk, Virginia, but did not begin professional practice until after 1915 when he established a residence in Atlanta. In his work, which at times he performed in association with other architects, he designed several County Court Houses and other public buildings in the South. Among the most important of these were: Fulton County Court House, 1922, in collaboration with the firm of Morgan & Dillon; Terminal Railroad Station at Birmingham, Alabama; Dade County Court House and the City Hall at Miami, Florida, both in association with August Geiger; and the Dental School at Vanderbilt University, Nashville Tennessee.
