Frank Seymour Barnum ( -1928) (A.I.A.)
Formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Barnum spent the latter years of his life at Cocoanut Grove, Florida. During the late 19th century he was associated in practice with F.A. Colburn in Cleveland, and after the latter's death in 1898, Mr. Barnum carried on his work alone for a time, later collaborated with Albert Skeel on certain buildings until his retirement in 1915.
One of his early independent works was the Woodland Avenue Presbyterian Church in Cleveland, and on the Euclid Avenue Congregation Church, erected between 1898 and 1902, he was associated with Albert Skeel. In addition to church work, he was architect of other types of buildings, including the Historical Society Building at Western Reserve University.
