After the year 1866 the Homestead was purchased by Hex. B. Snoch who was identified with many improvements in the village.
Alterations have been few, the porch floor having been lowered and square bases placed under the columns and the sides of the porch were originally built of wood and projected out, flanking the steps. A wood parapet has been removed that adorned the outer portion of the roof.
